The Creative Arts Department (CAD) at Word of Faith is a team that is designated for all things technology and media related. We are currently building a team that can cohesively work together to accomplish the end goal of excellence in service and media production. Some requirements are as follows:
- Must be born again (saved)
- Must have a servant's heart
- Must have a can-do attitude
- Must be able to devote up to 3 hours per scheduled week for in-service work
- Must be willing and able to learn new technologies
- Must be able to devote one night per scheduled week for rehearsal (Mondays @ 7pm - approx. 2 hours)
We believe that God will move the right people into place to move the team forward. Specifically we are currently in need of the following positions:
The lighting designer will be responsible for developing a light "show" to create an atmosphere of excitement for God's presence and an atmosphere of worship. The ideal individual would possess some skill operating lights already, but this is not a requirement. This person would report to the Production Manager
The lighting operator will work during rehearsal and services to cue light scenes during songs and altar call, helping to enhance the atmosphere of praise and worship. The ideal individual is someone willing to learn and having a servants heart. This person would report to the lighting designer.
The sound technician will be the person responsible for maintaining a quality mix during the worship set. This person will also be called upon during recording periods to help in the studio to mix for album release. The ideal individual would be someone who is attentive and able to "give up" their point of view. This person would report to the Production Manager.
The media specialist will be the person responsible for CDs (orders and duplication), and will most often work during the altar call to have service (message) CDs prepared and ready to go when service is over. The ideal individual would be someone who is willing to learn and able to work most Sunday mornings/Wednesday evenings during service. This person will report to the CAD Director.
This person would be responsible for photography during major events (in the sanctuary and community); he or she would also be responsible for portraits when they are needed for the website. The ideal individual would possess some photography skill already and have a willingness to serve. This person will report to the CAD Director.
