Today, we’re in the last week and down to just a few days left in the devotion and the fast. If you haven’t found yourself praying for spiritual strength yet, today is the day! First, take a look at Ephesians:

14 For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, 15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, 16 that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, 19 and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. 20 Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

Ephesians 3:14-21 (ESV)

Father, in Jesus’ name, I praise and thank You that You saved me for a purpose and that You have a plan for my life. I thank You that this plan exceeds my most imaginative hopes and dreams. For that reason, Father, I bow before You, the God of heaven and earth from whom Your whole family receives our name. I pray that by Your glorious riches You would strengthen me on the inside through the power of the Holy Spirit. I pray that Christ would truly live in my heart and live through me by my faith in You. Help me to understand with all the saints the breadth, length, depth, and height of Your love that surpasses all knowledge. Fill me with all of Your fullness, wisdom, strength, and power, so that I can live constantly to Your glory. Now to You, Father, who are able to do exceedingly far above all that I can ask or even imagine be the glory! Let me be used now and the rest of my life. In Jesus’ name, amen!
